Spider-Man: Far From Home is a 2019 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. Produced by Columbia Pictures and Marvel Studios, and distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing, it is the sequel to 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming and the 23rd film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
The film follows Peter Parker (Tom Holland) as he goes on a summer trip to Europe with his friends. However, he is soon recruited by Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) to help him stop the Elementals, a group of powerful creatures that are wreaking havoc across the continent. Along the way, Peter must also deal with his own personal struggles, including his grief over the death of Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) and his growing feelings for MJ (Zendaya).
